While the GLOBAL ELITE control governments via think tanks like the CFR, they manipulate us, the masses, THROUGH THE MEDIA.
They do this via an unrelenting stream of information; misinformation; disinformation and spectacle.
Roman writer, Marcus Cicero wrote disgustedly, “Two things only the people anxiously desire — bread and circuses.” The government kept the Roman populace happy by distributing free food and staging huge spectacles. WHY? Its was ALL designed, then as now, to manufacture OUR gullible consent for our owners' agenda instead of our own. They create a spectacle OR an enemy using sophisticated techniques of hegelian dialectic, and sway public opinion and emotion, so that we give them permission to invade yet another irrelevant country; engage in genocide against its people; lose OUR troops; make the elites richer through war and the ensuing war-debt; and IMF-reparations-debt; and BEG them to enslave, ahem...-protect us!
